Day One
Pick up from Africa Centre and travel in an air-conditioned vehicle via Dullstroom/Nelspruit to Kruger. After a short break (swim/early sun downer at the bar) you board the open Land Cruiser for a 3 hour sunset drive. Your qualified guide will facilitate your first sightings of Africa's varied fauna. We stop for photos of the magnificent African sunset. After dark, your guide will use a powerful spotlight to locate nocturnal animals. Dinner in the Boma around a crackling fire will be a typical South African meal. Overnight in your fascinating treehouse or comfortable chalet.
 
Day Two
At the Orpen Gate of Kruger we board our open game viewer that provides unbeatable opportunities for a total sensual wildlife experience. These vehicles offer superior viewing and the absence of windows allows you to hear and smell the African bush and its denizens. Your experienced guide will show you many animals and birds that frequent this wildlife paradise. The Orpen/Satara region has open plains with numerous herds of giraffe, zebra and antelope that attract the big cats. Dinner and overnight at the resort.
 
Day Three
Early morning game walk accompanied by your armed ranger. You will attempt to get close to the numerous animals that have made their home at the camp especially nyala, buffalo and rhino. After breakfast, you drive via the Blyde River Canyon on your return to Africa Centre, Johannesburg, where you arrive in the late afternoon. Airport drop-off by arrangement.

An extra day spent travelling in one of the open vehicles through the Kruger Park. Without the constriction of windows and the sense of freedom to view all the wildlife in the park.

Early morning game walk accompanied by your armed ranger. You will attempt to get close to the numerous animals that have made their home at the lodge, especially nyala, buffalo and rhino. After breakfast, you drive via the Blyde River Canyon on your return to Africa Centre, Johannesburg where you arrive in the late afternoon. Airport drop-off by arrangement.

After a short break, during which you can unwind at the bar or enjoy a quick swim, we board an open land Cruiser for a sunset drive. Toast the magnificent African sunset with your favourite liquid "sun downer". After dark, your ranger will use a powerful spotlight to identify nocturnal animals. Drive to where you will be accommodated. Dinner will be held in our Boma, around a crackling open fire.
 
Day Two
After breakfast, we depart for the Orpen Gate of Kruger Park. From your open game viewer you are afforded an outstanding opportunity to fully experience Africa's wild animals. The elevated vantage position and absence of glass windows allow for truly unforgettable sight, sound and scent experiences and brilliant photographic opportunities. Spend the full day game-viewing and bird-watching in the company of a knowledgeable guide. Overnight in your romantic tree house with the sounds of the African night to lull you to sleep.
 
Day Three
Another full day of game viewing and bird watching from the open game viewer. Your guide will use his intimate knowledge of the Park and travel along different roads in an attempt to show you the Big Five. From your open game viewer, your chances of seeing the Big Five are greatly enhanced. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
 
Day Four
Another full day of game viewing and bird watching from the open game viewer. Your guide will use his intimate knowledge of the Park and travel along different roads in an attempt to show you the Big Five. Day Five
Early morning game walk accompanied by your ranger, who will attempt to get close to the multitude of animals that have made their home at the treehouse lodge. After breakfast, we drive to the Blyde River Canyon where you view the breathtaking Three Rondawels. We return to Africa Centre, arriving at 16H00.

Pick up from Africa Centre and drive to Kruger park. There is time for a rest in your room or a swim or a drink at the bar. Board our open Land Cruiser for a game drive. After stopping to watch the magnificent African sunset, we use spotlights to identify nocturnal species. Dinner and a good night's sleep.
 
Day Two
Awaken before sunrise for a cuppa and rusks. We drive to a remote area where our armed ranger conducts a Big Five Game Walk. Adrenalin rushes will be acute, notwithstanding the presence of your armed field guide. Return to for brunch. Transfer to accommodation. After we board an open game viewer for a game drive on the reserve where we have a good chance of encountering black and white rhino as well as buffalo. Dinner and a good nights sleep.
 
Day Three
Full day on an open game viewer in the Kruger Park. Your ranger will attempt to show you all of the Big Five. The area we visit has excellent visibility of open plains, home to numerous herds of zebra, giraffe, wildebeest and other antelope, that attract many lions. Elephant, buffalo and rhino are also abundant.
 
Day Four
Morning visit to Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre for orphaned and injured animals. You will get up close and personal to lions, leopards, cheetah, and other animals that are cared for in this conservation-minded centre. After lunch at Cheetah Inn, you have the afternoon to rest or swim. At 17H00 board the open game viewer for a sunset drive on the game reserve.
 
Day Five
Another full day of game viewing and bird watching in Kruger. Your experienced guide will show you many animals and birds that frequent this life paradise. The diversity of mammals found in Kruger is unsurpassed anywhere in Africa.
 
Day Six
Early morning game walk accompanied by an armed ranger who will show you spoor and droppings of animals big and small. The walk concentrates on plants, birds, and insects that are not normally appreciated from a vehicle. From time to time, dangerous animals such as buffalo, black rhino and leopard are encountered. After breakfast, we drive via the Three Rondawels of the Blyde River Canyon en route to Africa Centre, Johannesburg where we arrive in the late afternoon. Airport drop off by arrangement.
